Hajambo (Hello) from Kijabe!
We arrived here this morning around 11:00am Kenya time after staying at a hotel near the airport last night. We first flew from Dulles International Airport in DC to Charles De Gaulle in Paris, where we had a three hour layover.

We then took another seven hour flight to Jomo Kenyatta International in Nairobi. After we got transport to the CURE Guesthouse in Kijabe, we met Mary, Christine, and Victor, who will be taking care of us at the guesthouse during our stay. Afterwards, the team had some time to unpack and rest before eating lunch.

We then went to a meeting with some of the hospital staff (Aline, Sarah, Marygoretti, Eriac, Seith, and Ann) to go over the schedule for our stay. Lastly, we had a tour around the hospital before heading back for dinner.

Tomorrow we are going into Nairobi for the World Clubfoot Day celebration.
